2008 10th Anniversary Party

What a wonderful way to celebrate our 10th anniversary! We had a very good turnout for the meeting. Katie made some announcements and reviewed our calendar for 2009. The election of officers is next month. We are looking for an assistant program chair for 2009. Please contact Katie if you are interested.

Amy Keaton began our program by explaining how she started the Lake Michigan Sampler Guild in 1998. Four of the original founding members were present. From left to right in the photo, they are Elaine Hoagland, Kathy Matthews, Amy Keaton and Susan Balsai. Kathy Bourne was not present.

Kathy Matthews and Sue Kellerman prepared a special surprise for our 10th anniversary, a mermaid scissor fob. Marilyn Fettinger treated us to a slide show that brought back many good memories of our past meetings and projects. She also distributed a CD to each member that contained all of the photos.

And, of course, there was cake!
