Joanne Harvey will present the Plimoth Sweete Bag. In the 17th century, people used fragrant sweet bags to perfume the air or clothing. The sachets could be filled with fragrant herbs or aromatic substances like musk. The floral design of this sweet bag is inspired by a sampler at Plimoth Plantation. Originally worked in 1664 by a girl with the initials EC. Our sweet bag is a perfect size for a lovely needlework accessory. It measures 6" x 9" and is worked on 35 count linen with DMC floss. The back has a design that can be personalized with your initials This kit comes complete with all finishing materials. The kit price is $36.50.
