Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM will be the Ezekel Teel 1790 Pocketbook. Pocketbooks were very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. They were worked in a variety of materials and in various needlework techniques. Ezekel Teel's double pocketbook is worked in Irish Stitch and Cross Stitch using Appleton crewel wool on 27 count linen ground. It will measure 4" x 7" when completed. Finishing instructions, linings and imported wool tape are all included. The kit price is $94.50 plus a teaching fee. This workshop will be held at Patton House in Glenview.
