This charming sampler cottage features an alphabet roof that supports a smoky mother-of-pearl button chimney with twisted cord smoke! The roof lifts off to reveal storage for scissors, awl, and other needlework tools. A tiny "trunk" pincushion rests inside - complete with silk ribbon straps. The interior is lined with Dupioni silk along with linen walls. The stitching is on 30 ct. linen with variegated silk threads of Gloriana's Cottage Woods along with blending hues of green, blue, taupe and dusty rose. Stitches include the four sided, satin, eyelet, cross over one-two, tied oblong cross, half Rhodes, and C.A.'s exclusive joining stitch. Learn techniques to join non-counted fabric to linen and linen to linen - all from the outside of the project, totally by hand, along with the framework information of this dainty cottage. Tips to make embellished, tight twisted cord that serves a function as well as a decorative purpose will be shared. Your treasured needlework tools will love to call this Sampler Cottage Etui home! All finishing materials are included in kit.

Cost of this workshop is $125 plus a teaching fee to be determined.

Deadline for signup is June 29.
