Glee Krueger is a renowned scholar of American samplers and  the author of two books about them. Sunday - Glee will present two lecture/slide shows. One will be entitled  "Pleasure of Their Company", a slide show of her personal sampler collection which includes both miniature samplers  and larger ones. The second part of the afternoon will be a presentation of slides of the sampler collection from  the Vassar College where she has been doing research to identify the places where the samplers were made and the  identity of the makers. The title of this lecture is "Common threads, Uncommon Beauty: The Martha Clawson Reed and Mrs. James W. Packard Collections" and will include recently added slides and information. Free to members, $20 fee for non-members.
