Join us for a field trip to see the Colonial Dames' sampler exhibit at the the Clarke House and the Chicago Cultural Center. We will meet at the Clarke House for a stitch-in from 10:00 until 11:30. You will also be able to view the samplers on display at the Clarke House during that time. At 12:15, we will move to the Chicago Cultural Center. Amy Keaton will give us a guided tour of the 55 samplers which are being exhibited. After the tour, you can have lunch at the Cultural Center cafeteria or go to one of the nearby restaurants. There will be an exhibit catalog for sale along with sampler cards and a poster. Don't miss this once in a life time opportunity! According to Amy, it is estimated that 100,000 people will view the exhibit by the time it closes at the end of July.
