1733 German Sampler
The 1733 German sampler is an unusually lovely sampler. Worked in a band format with alphabets, a wonderful central band with figures holding hands copied from Johann Sibmacher’s “Schon Neus Modelbuch”, followed by small bands, it includes trees, birds and other motifs seen on German samplers. The sampler will be stitched on 40 ct. linen with silk floss. Stitches used are double running, marking cross and montenegrin. Kit fee is $160.
On Sunday, August 12th from 9:00 to 12:00, Margriet will teach the Silver Tape Measure Cover which is the companion piece to others she has taught for us. The kit fee will be approximately $160 depending on price of silver. Pictures will be available soon.
