July 2008 Marilyn Vanover finished "A Canadian Journey" stitching necessaire by Giula Punti Antichi. The finishing instructions are "Just a Thought by Judy O'Dell". The piece tells the story of a sailor who goes to sea in a series of pictures on the four panels. It unfolds to reveal a number of stitching accessories including a pin cushion, scissor fob, needle keep, thread winders and more. Marilyn said it was very challenging to finish, but she did an outstanding job. |
