If you like antique needlework, want to learn more about samplers or love to stitch, then join the Lake Michigan Sampler Guild! Let’s explore Darning Samplers. This will be a group effort. Let’s all share what we know about Darning Samplers. Please bring stitching patterns or info for everyone to share. And certainly, bring any Darning Samplers that you may happen to own for show and tell.

Strawberry Pin Cushion

Location: Barrington Library 

Learn how to do wool applique! Sharon Wick will show you how to make this strawberry pin cushion from Primitive Gatherings. We’ll cut out the wool applique and fuse it to the backing in the meeting. Then Sharon will explain the embroidery stitches used on the pin cushion. Please bring pen and scissors.

Sharon will also share some of her wool applique projects. If you have done wool applique, please bring it for show and tell.

Kit fee $10.00 includes thread and needle.
